 This plant is one of the old lilies developed by Adelaide Botanic Gardens in the early 1900s. It is very different than most yellows and of course very spectacular. A moderate bloomer that requires a lot of sun and flowers are 5 to 6 inches in diameter when planted in a large pot but is adaptable to small pots and ponds as well. The leaves are green with some faded purple specks and the underside is red with the purple specks. A truly different lily. |
